Combining my love of textiles and working with paint, I've been working on a new series of 8 paintings on raw canvas called 'Quiet'. This series explores the use of raw canvas and thinned down acrylic paints which soak into the canvas creating soft shapes and washes of colour. I adore the thought of the paint and the fabric becoming one. For me It's like the ultimate union of textile design and art.
